Project milestones help you divide and organize work inside projects.

Overview

Project milestones represent different stages in a project’s lifecycle. You can easily create milestones, add issues to milestones, and track the progress of each milestone in a project.

Basics

Creating milestones

When viewing the project overview, you can easily create milestones directly beneath the detailed project description. Here, you have the option to add title and due dates to each milestone and monitor their progress.

Edit and delete milestones

In your project overview, you can choose to press the pencil icon to edit the milestone title and due date. If you press the X, you delete the milestone. Deleting the milestone does not delete its assigned tasks.

Add tasks to milestones

When creating a task, if assigned to a projects, associated milestones in the projects will be selectable in a dropdown.
