The Team property allows you to assign tasks to a specific team within your organisation. This field is required. This ensures that the relevant team is responsible for completing the task, facilitating better organisation and accountability. By assigning tasks to teams, you can streamline communication and ensure that everyone knows which team is handling which tasks.
The Status property indicates the current state of a task. You can have a task in one of 6 status:
To Do
In Progress
Under Review
Done
Cancelled
Backlog
You can define your own custom statuses on a team level.
The Assignee property designates the individual responsible for completing a task. Assigning a task to a specific person ensures clear ownership and accountability. This helps prevent tasks from being overlooked and ensures that there is a go-to person for any questions or updates related to the task. There cannot be multiple assignees on a parent task, but you can have multiple assignees on different subtasks.
The Label(s) property allows you to categorise tasks with specific tags or keywords. Labels can be used to indicate task types, priorities, or any other custom categorisation that suits your project. This makes it easier to filter and search for tasks, helping you quickly find tasks that share the same characteristics.
Labels are defined on a team level.
The Priority property helps you identify the importance of a task relative to others. You can have a task in one of 5 priorities:
None
Low
Medium
High
Urgent
You cannot customise priorities in Adjera. This ensures your workspace remains clean and without confusions.
The Project property links a task to a specific project. This ensures that all tasks related to a project are grouped together, making it easier to manage and track the progress of the entire project. Associating tasks with projects provides a clear context and helps maintain a structured workflow.
If associated to a project, you can from there assign it to milestone.
Duration represents the total calendar time taken to complete a task from start to finish. It includes all working and non-working periods, such as weekends, holidays, and any other non-working days.
The Due Date property specifies the deadline by which a task should be completed. Setting a due date helps prioritise tasks and ensures timely completion. It also helps in tracking progress against the project timeline and keeping the project on schedule.
