Grouping and Sorting

Group and sort your Board or List view to display tasks in a more specific manner.

Grouping

Grouping your tasks in Adjera's Board and List view helps you organise and visualise your workflow more effectively. By using the grouping options—Status, Priority, Assignee, and Labels—you can customise your view to see tasks sorted in a way that best fits your needs.

Grouping by Status

Groups your board and list to track the progress of tasks through different stages. - To do - In progress - Under review - Done - Backlog - Cancelled

Grouping by Priority

Helps you focus on what needs attention first. Groups your Board and list in the following priorities: - None - Low - Medium - High - Urgent

Grouping by Assignee

Makes it easy to see who is responsible for which tasks.

Grouping by Labels

Lets you categorise tasks based on specific themes or project requirements. This flexibility ensures that you have a clear, organized overview of your tasks, tailored to your preferred way of working.

Sorting

Sorting your tasks in Adjera's Board and List view helps you organise your workflow based on specific criteria, making task management more efficient. Sorting simply means - what tasks are shown at the top of each column and row.

Criterias

You can sort your tasks based on the following 5 criterias:

  • Priority: Tasks with the highest priority are displayed at the top of each column/row, ensuring the most critical tasks are seen first.

  • Title: Tasks are arranged alphabetically within each column/row, making it easier to locate tasks by name.

  • Due date: Tasks with the nearest due dates appear at the top, helping you focus on upcoming deadlines.

  • Last created: Newer tasks are shown first, allowing you to keep an eye on recent additions.

  • Last updated: Recently modified tasks are prioritised, making it easy to track the latest changes.

This sorting functionality in both views enhances your ability to stay organised and prioritise your tasks effectively, ensuring a smooth and productive workflow.

Summary

In conclusion, combining grouping and sorting, can help you refine your view to better help you organise and get work done better.
