Customer Overview

The Customer Overview page provides a comprehensive view of all your customers. Here you can manage your customer database through various actions like viewing, editing, and deleting customer records.

Features

Customer Table

The main section displays a table with all your customers, showing key information such as:

  • Customer Name
  • Customer Number
  • Tax/VAT ID
  • Main Currency
  • Associated Projects (hover to see a list of active projects)

Tip: Hover over the Projects field in any row to quickly view a list of active projects associated with that customer.

Actions

For each customer, you can:

  • Quick Edit: Make rapid changes to customer details directly from the table
  • View Details: Access the customer’s detailed overview page
  • Delete: Remove a customer from your workspace

To access these actions:

  1. Hover over any customer row in the table
  2. Click the three-dot (⋮) menu icon that appears on the far right of the row
  3. Select your desired action from the dropdown menu

Creating a New Customer

To add a new customer:

  1. Click the “Create” button in the top-right corner of the page

  2. A modal will appear with the following fields:

    • Customer Name: Enter the business or individual name
    • Customer Number: Provide a unique identifier (must be unique across your workspace)
    • Tax/VAT ID: Enter the customer’s tax identification number
    • Main Currency: Select the primary currency for this customer
    • Projects: Optionally assign existing projects to this customer
  3. Fill in the required information

  4. Click “Save” to create the new customer

Note: The Customer Number must be unique across your entire workspace to avoid confusion and ensure proper identification of each customer.
